From the coming ice hockey season, VIEROL will be seen in numerous games of the women’s national team. The German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) has found a new official partner for the next three years in VIEROL AG from Oldenburg. With immediate effect, the Group’s logo will adorn the back and sleeves of the German women’s national ice hockey team’s jersey. As an official partner, the automotive specialist will also feature its quality brand VAICO on the jerseys and boards. The partnership also includes extensive advertising services. The contract was brokered by Infront Germany GmbH, the DEB’s marketing partner.

The Oldenburg-based family business is already very active in sports sponsorship. In addition to its regional involvement in football, equestrian sports and basketball, VIEROL is also an official partner of the popular German Touring Car Masters (DTM) racing series.

“Many of our customers in the USA, Canada, the Scandinavian countries and Germany share our enthusiasm for ice hockey. Just like in ice hockey, agility, passion and teamwork are important for success in our environment. Sport also creates a positive environment for people from different cultural backgrounds. Topics such as diversity, equality and the advancement of women are very important at VIEROL. For us as an international company, the partnership with the women’s national ice hockey team could not be more fitting,” emphasises Ulf Koschig, Deputy CEO at VIEROL.

As part of the partnership, VIEROL will also be present as an official supplier of the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) at the men’s Germany Cup as part of the DEB international matches in addition to its advertising presence with the women’s senior national team.

“In conjunction with our regional sporting commitments and activities, the partnership with the national women’s ice hockey team is a great platform to present VIEROL and the VAICO brand internationally in an emotional and inspiring environment. We are also convinced that ice hockey stands for high-calibre sport in view of the Olympic Games and especially the World Championships in Germany in 2027 and are delighted to be involved as a partner,” says Ibrahim Chahrour, Head of Marketing and Product Management at VIEROL AG.
